Creating A Community Of Readers Step By Step

With LBC Hari ng Padala Foundation, Inc., Adarna Group Foundation, Inc. is implementing Step by Step for 0-4 year old children in two municipalities of Tarlac: San Clemente and Anao. Step by Step is an approach to develop a community of readers. It is premised on LGU commitment and capacity building of LGU personnel; program interventions and distribution of materials; support of family, parents, and caregivers; and monitoring, evaluation, and learning. Step by Step will reach 500 families and children, train more than 30 healthcare professionals, and capacitate 50 child development workers. Picture books, big books, and manuals will be distributed. Step by Step includes storytelling sessions for LBC Foundation volunteers.
