AGFI Conducts Unang Isang Libong Araw Learning Sessions for Happy si Mommy, Malusog si Baby Program

The learning session in Barangay Maligaya, Mariveles, Bataan was graced by 30 pregnant women.

Adarna Group Foundation, Inc. (AGFI) joined the first-1000-days-of-life program of San Miguel Foundation, Inc. and San Miguel Foods, Happy si Mommy, Malusog si Baby, during its 2022 relaunch.

Ms. Con Estrella shared tips to the pregnant crowd in Barangay Looc, Mandaue City, Cebu.

Through the partnership, AGFI brought Unang Isang Libong Araw and conducted learning sessions to 250 pregnant women across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. The Foundation, together with San Miguel Foundation, Inc. and San Miguel Foods, reached Bataan, Cavite, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Leyte, and Pangasinan. Its Executive Director, Con Estrella, led the discussions on proper nutrition and early stimulation during pregnancy. 

The 30 participants from Barangay Macabug, Ormoc, Leyte were all smiles after the learning session. Thank you, San Miguel Foundation, Inc. and San Miguel Foods, for providing support to pregnant women all over the Philippines!

AGFI was also part of the Happy si Mommy, Malusog si Baby program implementation from 2017 to 2019. This 2023, it hopes to continue working with organizations that advocate for the wellness of pregnant women and the development of their children in the womb.
