Your monetary donation will help us acquire age-appropriate and culturally relevant books for babies and children, educate parents, train health workers, and bring early literacy services to communities that need them the most.


AGFI DONATION PACKAGES
 

Adarna Group Foundation, Inc. (AGFI) is PCNC- accredited, DSWD-registered and a grantee of the BIR Donee Institution Status. We received registration from the Securities and Exchange Commission on February 14, 2013.

We welcome donations for our four programs. The donations can be for specific components or for all of the components of a program. For these programs, all requirements for children’s books are provided by AGFI.
 

How to be an AGFI donor:

1. Select the component/total program you want to support

 

Barangay Early Literacy Program (BELP): A one-day program that consists of (1) a workshop on early literacy, (2) a storytelling session, (3) an arts or music and movement activity, and (4) distribution of age-appropriate books

For components of the program:

  •  Php 2,000.00 to pay for the early literacy facilitator
  •  Php 2,000.00 to pay for the storytelling facilitator
  •  Php 2,500.00 to pay for the arts or music and movement facilitator

For the entire program:
Php 15,000.00 to pay for the facilitators and materials for one BELP for 50 children and their parents.

 

 

Read sa RHU: Donation of book pockets with books to the rural health units/barangay health stations of a
municipality together with training on early literacy and storytelling for parents and health care workers

For components of the program:

  • Php 500.00 to pay for one book pocket
  • Php 5,000.00 to pay for the early literacy facilitator
  • Php 5,000.00 to pay for the storytelling facilitator
  • Php 8,000.00 to pay for the doctor-facilitator

For the entire program:
Donation amount depends on the number of rural health units and barangay health stations 

 

 

Unang Aklat: A two year early literacy program involving 0-3 year old children, their parents/guardians, and local government leaders and development workers.

For components of the program:

  • Php 500.00 to pay for the transportation of a parent and for her baby for the 5 learning sessions
  • Php 8,000.00 to pay for a learning session facilitator
  • Php 28,000.00 to pay for the facilitators of the 5 learning sessions
  • Php 35,000.00 to pay for the two-day training of 15-20 health care workers including fees for facilitators, transportation, and accommodations

For the entire program:
Donation amount depends on the municipality selected for the program, the number of children in the program, and the health care delivery network 

 

 

Unang Aklatan: establishment of a library in a space to be identified by the local government unit and with local government unit support for its staffing and bookshelves
For this program, donations can be in the form of books in cash and in kind, funding for the makeover of the space into a library, and professional fees (Php 10,000.00 ) for training on library supervision and maintenance.
